Easy to get to... The Oasis Guest House is well positioned for easy access to the town centre, harbour, beaches, coastal paths and the marina as well as getting in and out of Falmouth itself. An ideal base for a Cornish holiday, offering superb quality bed and breakfast service with ground floor and first floor en-suite facilities and our own off road parking. For those of you on foot the branch line railway station - known as Penmere Halt - is only a short walk away. This provides a connection with the City of Truro in approximately 20 minutes.

Steeped in maritime history ... Falmouth is a place of natural beauty with oustanding scenery and coastline. Steeped in maritime history, the narrow cobbled streets follow the waters edge from the Prince of Wales Pier through to the recently built National Maritime Museum. Shops, galleries, a theatre, pubs, clubs, live music and a fine selection of restaurants catering for all tastes including of course seafood and local cornish fayre!

Boats on the water... In the background one of the finest and largest natural harbours in the world. Falmouth provides numerous opportunities to access the water. A leisurely boat trip from The Prince of Wales Pier, to a faster, safari style trip to search for some of the local marine life or just a short, ferry crossing to a nearby village that hugs the waterside and simply oozes, quaint, ideayllic charm. Alternatively, do it in style with a yacht charter and take in some of the most stunning coastline in Britain.

The harbour and creeks provide arguably some of the most attractive sailing and diving waters in the country. Local pleasure boats offer trips from Falmouth to Truro travelling for an hour inland along The River Fal and stopping at some fabulous locations, such as Trelissick, Tolverne, St. Mawes and Malpas.

Beaches, Gardens and more ... On land, amongst the many golf clubs in the county, The Falmouth club is located right on the cliff tops and enjoys uninterrupted views across the bay. Squash and tennis is played at another local venue called The Falmouth Club and the Ships n' Castles fun pool is nearby for a swim!

The main beaches, Castle, Gyllyngvase, Swanpool and Maenporth are all within a few minutes drive and whilst renowned for its very mild climate some wonderful, sub tropical gardens can be found along the coastal route in the direction of the Helford estuary.

One of the predominant landmarks of the area is Pendennis Castle with its views across the magnificient harbour to St.Mawes Castle. Both of which are great places to visit at any time but during the summer months play host to a number of outdoor events.
